Sometimes we forget about the future. It is hard to not bring yourself back to reality sometimes. We all die and then comes eternity, but the majority of us live this life only for this life's pleasures, but in the end that always gets dull and boring. I want to live a life that is exciting and I am beginning to realize that the only way to do that is to live whole heartedly for Jesus. I want to share a scripture with you that really stuck out to me last night.
Romans 14:13 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof.
How do we clothe ourselves with Christ? I think the answer is really very simple. Everything that we allow into our lives affects us on a soulical and spiritual level. Remember we have to renew our minds daily in order to be transformed. As we continue to read the Bible, pray, and commune with God and cut off activities that are not like God, we will become more and more like Jesus. Let us commit to him today and be one of the ones that has rewards when we get to heaven. Amen
